Iroquois Cutlery Co. Utica N.Y. (Seeking Info)

Post by philco »

Can anyone tell me anything about this company and/or their products? I found an old camp knife by them and I've never heard of them before.

Thanks Karl,
I actually read that thread as it was posted but somehow the part about Iroquois Cut. Co. just didn't stick in my mind. ::dang:: I assume that Iroquois was a sub brand of Utica Cut.Co., sort of like Uncle Henry was to Schrade.

I really appreciate all the helpful info. That's part of what makes this site so great! ::tu::

yeah the long pull make sit a nice easy carry. the bolsters are little hunks of brass. but the one scale in the front ,in the close up you can see is starting to pull from the pin. im sure i could tap it a little to fix it somewhat.

here's another IROQUOIS knife.
Iroquois in a circle with utica,ny under..
Strange though,it looks like someone replaced the pin,or the blade doesn't
belong in this handle.
There are grind marks on the bolsters, but I can't imagine who would want to fake this knife??
