That looks like something Arnold (tobyrogers) might've ah, er, ah, bagged.
I'll bet with a lift of that tail, it even has a secret place for your concealed carry...

Texas Turkey is Longhorn-State slang for armadillo.jonet143 wrote:now mitch, i don't know what passes for turkeys in the granola state but here a dilla is a dilla and a turkey looks like this.

Johnnie; I read once, that during the "GREAT DEPRESSION" in the
1930's, due to the scarcity of food ARMIDILLO'S were referred to
as "TEXAS TURKEYS" and considered a real treat! Saving many people
from starvation!
just givin ya a hard time mitch. sorry but i'm a native and have'nt heard that one about texas turkey being slang for a dilla. the dilla has been eaten (not by me) from mexico through it's range. at one time leprosy was said to be spread by dillas. they are an interesting animal. not shy. and pretty fun to watch. canoeing down the brazos and camped on a mesquire sandbar(not sambar) i woke to a thrashing and gnashing in the bush by my camp. drew a pistol and light and three dilla came waltzing out straight through camp without paying any attention to us. scared the crap out of me!

MITCH RAPP; ("during the "GREAT DEPRESSION" in the 1930's, due to the scarcity of food).
I just wanted to add that in them days of the DEPRESSION. Here in IL the farmers had lots of corn, but no one would buy it cuz they had no $$$$.
So the farmers just burned it to stay worm. Yup they did that. I have many old stories about those times. All not good.
Hukk good one.
Do you know why the chicken crossed the road?
To show the possum that it can be done...
(Possum lay down on the road and pretend they are dead. Just waiting for a front tire)

My EDC
Heres my EDC. I also carry a Colt Stainless Pony 380 sometimes. Slips right in the pocket and no one knows it's there. Fortunately, Michigan passed a right to carry law several years ago and all law abiding citizens can legally carry. They also passed a law that if your home is broken into or you are being car jacked you can shoot to kill. You just have to be in fear of your life. The CZ 9mm, is a great gun. Excellent trigger pull and the factory sights are great. I've had several Colt 45's, and a Glock, but this gun is my favorite.
