I follow your given link and yes I guess it is a military knife.

As stated by S-K it is probably a civilian model and made around the same time. I have yet to find that particular pattern stamped with Military or government property markings.
I measure my collection by the ton.

In Flook's British & Commonwealth Military Knives, he calls this knife the "Sudan Linesman's Knife". I have never seen one with a Broad Arrow mark but apparently Mr. Flook, the acknowledged expert on British military knives, does consider it a military knife used by the British Army for issue to electricians. It would certainly be more useful for the electrician than the standard issue knife. I wish I had my copy in front of me now so I could re-read the information he has published.

Agreed gew, Military Knives are also called Combat Knives, But the knife which is in that link is not a Military Knife, If you wanna see actual Military Knife you must refer this:
