I would'nt buy it for $10.00. What in the world do they see in it? Kind of reminds me of Forest Gumps Momma saying, "Stupid is as stupid does"

Well, Bloody Mary. How do you spell "Buyers Remorse"? You're right Mark. Forrest's mother hit this one right on the head.

Dang it! I've given that exact knife away for free many times before. If I had sold them all I could've retired!

Re: Trick or Treat????
The auction was on the American eBay site as well. The seller is located in Illinois. I think it just showed up on the Australian site because the seller ships internationally and because Gary (who is located in Australia) was the one who found it. For all we know the knife could've sold to someone here in America.Miller Bro`s wrote:I did not realize the auction was in Australia They must be "rare" over there

Re: Trick or Treat????
Well the guy makes a good pitch I'll give him that. Ok, I gotta know, is this actually a trick opening knife? What does it do?
gotyerknifeonya?
Re: Trick or Treat????
It will only open if it is held in a certain way, then you push down on the blade and it releases, has to
be help tip down if I remember right. I have a mint one (like alot of guys here) and I think I paid $6-8
for it on eBay last spring. They are really neat little knives, for $10 - and the blade is full on this one,
they were just built with a blabe that looks too short for the frame, must have something to do with
the trick opening mechanism.

Re: Trick or Treat????
They have to be held tip up Trevor, so the little rod (or ball or whatever's in there) will fall out of the "can opener" looking cut out in the blade back by the tang. I haven't had one in my hands for many years but it's a slick little outfit.

Re: Trick or Treat????
Jerry is right - Tip up to open and tip down to close. Went and grabbed a pic of it.
It is pictured here with another cool Imperial, GM key-knife - uncut. Guess I should get
busy and list these as a RARE PAIR.......looks like they should go for $257.81......
