H. Boker & Co's Improved Cutlery.
A pocket knife is still an intimate personal possession of the individual who carries it and consequently deserves the best of materials, finish and workmanship in its production. (Quoted from Boker's 1928 cutlery catalog).

Re: The All Scout Knives Thread
I have seen some of the white handled Boy Scout knives on this thread, but this is the first white handled Cub Scout knife I have come across. Bought it Thursday morning at a gunshop, Camillus brand, guessing 1960's or 1970's (no FDL on the Cub Scout emblem).
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

According to my books, those white handled Cub Scout knives from Camillus were made from c. 1980-1982.Old Hunter wrote:I have seen some of the white handled Boy Scout knives on this thread, but this is the first white handled Cub Scout knife I have come across. I'm hunting one of the green handled ones to complete my Cub Scout collection. Got one of those ?

Re: The All Scout Knives Thread
Phil, thanks for telling me what years my white handled CS knife was manufactured. I have not seen a green handled one; I had never seen a white handled one until this past Thursday. The only ones I remember were blue - I got one for my birthday or for Christmas around 1962 or 1963, but it is a long gone memory now. If I find TWO green handled ones you will get one of them! Hows that? OH
