got this boker in today, i guess she was factory cull? but i liked her anyway.
was they almost finshed and her backspring broke ?

Looks like the spring rusted up after it left the factory and broke when the blade was opened.

Maybe someone was carrying that one when WW2 broke out...
They didn't wanna get rid of such a fine knife, but didn't wanna carry a Nazi knife around either.

The knife was still usable so the tang stamp ground off and sold cheap as a factory second.
I would find a good knife mechanic and put two springs in it and you will have a very nice EDC
