$7.66 a gallon over here. If you think the US Government is a bunch of thieves you should try the English government. They have half the population, a tiny fraction of the land mass and infrastructure, and four times as many politicians. You'd better start fighting hard now. Lethargic action by the people is what leads to this.

Hi Tom, good to see you again!

According to that link you posted gas in Salem Oregon is $3.709/gal.
The closest gas to me was $3.769 yesterday. :x

Has anyone but me wondered why the press is not blaming the pres for gas prices?
When gas was $1.609/gal the press was all over Geo. W saying it was his fault and he was making his oil buddies rich.
Now that it is nearly $4/gal I have not heard a single peep from the same media!!???

What gives? ::shrug::

Thanks Caleb ::handshake:: Not with my wife...I've been captured twice today(made to do things I should have done months ago)... Now I know how a wet cottontail feels on opening day.....you can't get in the hole wet so you just keep running in circles and hope you don't get hit...lol.. Hey I hope you tried some deep fried tree rat with butter and hot sauce..tasty!!! ...

Hey Dale .. ::handshake:: Just saw your post.. Thanks... I think speculation(need Glass-Steagall back) and exporting fuel (its near if not our #1 export now) should be investigated more... not sure what policies Obama has put on that would cause the swing up...know of any.. maybe his shoot down of the X-L pipeline might have some biggies ticked..it would be all export profit anyway but I don't know... the supply is up and our consumption down so again its a mystery to me... other then the Iranians crap of shutting down Strait of Hormuz that seems to get the coverage and worry..

We had one station in our area that went up $0.26/gal over night last night.

Radio said average gas price on Oregon now is $3.80/gal today.
I had to take my daughter to Corvallis today for an MRI. I saw $4.06/gal for Texaco regular unleaded this morning in Corvallis Oregon. ::td:: :x

The radio said we will have $6/gal gas by this spring. :shock:
If they are right, I think I know a president who won't be reelected. ::smack::

It's just that time again. People get comfortable and complacent, now it's time to jack it up again. It's a cycle. It will go on til people raise cain then they'll back off.
