Hello from Southern Ky

Post by Saw Filer »

Howdy! I'm Shannon Walker from Mt. Hermon, Ky. I'm 36, married to a fine woman and have one 4 year old son and two worthless dogs. Been sharpening and repairing bandsaws for over 16 years.
I like hunting, fishing, flintknapping, traditional bows, making self bows...and apparently repairing pocket knives too!
Glad to be here :D

Okay, I'm not shy. I'll ask the big question. Do you do work for others?

 No....not for money anyway.
I did trade some labor for a sack full junk (that had a nice Buck Creek in it). I told him it was a good knife, but he said he didn't want it!

Thanks for the welcome guys :D
I'm not a collector, know very little about "brands", and have never paid over $35 for any knife... I just like fixing things. I wish someone would post a thread about putting in shields...the kind with pins. I just can't figure out how it's done!
