what do ya'll look like?

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Finally had a picture of me taken. I just got done raking up some leaves and my daughter got one of me texting in my garage. I dont like having pictures takin of me or do I like texting texting. Can ya tell? LOL.
I figured I would make use of it here.

P.S. Blow it up and stick it in your basements and garages, it will keep the mice out.

Sheesh! I forgot all about the 4" rolled up pants cuffs on jeans! ::dang:: ::dang:: ::dang::

I think Jerry is front row, center with the big cuffs & the cowboy shirt.
The only way a guy can forget that type of childhood (dressed like that) is to go into the Marine Corps........I know. ::facepalm::

Wow, Dale! What a segue. I'm in the top row. I am not that long drink of water in the middle of the top row. That's Jim Aley. He is/was 6'7" or 6'8" (I can't remember which) and had to get a waiver before he could enlist.

Amazing Jerry!
Have you ever noticed that you can look at any MCRD platoon picture and almost name the guys you knew from the way they look, even though it may be several years different in time from when you were in boot camp!

I think MCRD only has one picture and they just change the platoon number on the board at the bottom!

Since we are strolling down memory lane, here is a pic of me at my grandmother’s house.
I think I was on leave right after boot camp, wearing a nice fresh set of starched utilities.

Nah, that's Duane Tracy. He lives over here in Dubuque, IA. It wasn't all that hard tracking him down but it was a bear veriying his identity. Duane is rather reclusive. I've only talked to him once since I found him.

I have noticed that. The platoon books are also like that, interchangeable. It's crazy.

Dale's right. That was just before final inspection and graduation. If we weren't squared away by that time, there had been a major malfunction in the process someplace.

You talk the talk 'ftd', did you walk the walk?

Uh, Dale. I believe that's "Every swingin' Richard"
