1/4 MILLION CIGARETTES (think about it)

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

1/4 MILLION CIGARETTES (think about it)

Post by MrBlister »

Here's a fun lil story..

A guy smokes for 45 yrs... age 13-58..
Do the math>>> 250,000 cigarettes..

Happens to read a few sentences somewhere..

1st CORINTHIANS 3 - 16 AND 17
Do you not know that YOU are a temple of God and
that the Spirit of God dwells IN you ?
If any man destroys the temple of God,
God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy,
and that is what YOU are.

Well, that guy is ME.. and Ive NOT smoked
for 12 days now (7-29).....

How? (you ask)?.... simple....
MY FAITH is stronger than nicotine..
and somehow it doesnt seem right to
fill the holy ghost (spirit) full of Marlboro smoke! LOL

MrBlister, Hang in there! As we read your post we have asked the Lord to give you strength to overcome this habit. The scripture is clear about our bodies being the the temple. That's a powerful reason to quit, not to mention the health risks. Treefarmer

Dave He helped me quit and He will do the same for you. You have sought your strength in the only place that really helps. One day at a time, walk toward your freedom from nicotine addiction. I'm praying for you my friend.
