Mikov auto

Post by johnnierotten »

I picked up a couple of these about a week ago.....one with stag handles and the other is a kit.I plan to put wood scales on the kit and use it as a EDC.
Anyone else tried these out yet?

I have one I have owned for several years with the damasteel blade. Durable as heck and really nice looking too. I carry mine occasionally when woking in the shop or around the acreage. I prefer a dual action one for every day carry as they are actually illegal to carry here so I try to remember to leave it at home but I don't always remember. The Lone Wolf Dual action would probably pass muster with most anyone seeing it as compared to forgetting and walking around with the Mikov.

I also EDC a Kershaw assisted open knife as they are legal so it is the one that goes to town with me.

Mikov? Great autos! Had one with the stag for many years until someone decided they needed my stuff more than I did. They have nice style and finish with a great snap. I miss mine.

I wanted one with a clip blade...now I can't bring myself to use it.....

Johnnie I got this one at the Tulsa show a while back...a dealer there had some but most were dagger blades...said he bought them
from the factory but he wouldn't do it again because of the customs hassle.
This one had wood handle's...looked like walnut. If I run across another I'll let you know.

I had two. One in black and one wearing some beatiful stag. Notice the word had. They were part of an involuntary donation to some of the local scum. The were /are wellmade and have nice european workmanship.
