Just picked this up at a pawn shop, I think I got a good deal ($25.00) but then again I can't find it anywhere.
So who knows about Kissing Crane and this model?
Rattlesnake Skinner and KC3 are etched on the blade.
The tang stamp is light but it is the kissing cranes and ROBI KLAAS Solingen.
Thanks Swiss Man

I really like that stacked leather washer/stag/stacked leather washer look. Splendid snag for 25 bucks. (and my girlfriend tells me yesterday there are no bargins on eBay. HA!! Shows what she knows.)

Another great looking knife, Jerry. Wasn't "KC" a prefix that United applied to the model when they owned the brand?

Swiss Man, I know this post is almost a year old but I think your stamp is actually ROB"T" with the t underlined so it looks like an I. I have one unique Klaas fixed blade, it's hard finding the German made ones. Heard recently that the names Robert Klaas and Kissing Crane are parting ways, maybe Robert Klass stamped knives will once again be made in Solingen and Kissing Crane will probably be sporting the "C" word. Wish I knew more.
