Bronco , I would call them a swell end jack and a equal end jack although there may be a different name for the swell end with a rope blade? Anyway, you have some very nice ones there . I love that whittler!

I use 4/0 steel wool soaked in mineral oil to remove the heavy spots, it won't scratched the blade. In the case of that whittler, i wouldnt do anything to it except carry it!

Hello to all. I've been enjoying AAPK and member topics for months and have finally registered for membership. I too have the Boker "addiction". I've also become a big fan of other makers and have duplicated this post in the GEC and Queen forums. As spare time allows, I make pocket pouches to protect my EDC "selection for the day".

I've included the link below highlighting some of my handiwork if you care to take a look. Included are a hodge-podge of Bokers, GEC's, Queens, S&M and a couple of fixed blades.

Thanks to everyone for sharing your collections, observations and knowledge. I have learned so much and appreciate your eagerness to share and your commitment and community spirit.

Here are a few to share. I'm partial to the Barlow pattern ..... although I love all of the Boker Tree line. My Dad introduced me to Boker back in the late 60's and I've been partial ever since.
