Irish Knives...

Post by jpemmons77 »

I would appreciate any help in locating sources for Ireland made knives. I am aware of the Imperial Schrade lines but am hoping to find any other Irish made cutlery. Obviously I'm Irish and have collected other items from time to time. The wife says my next Irish binge must be on something small in size as I'm running out of storage and exhibit space. So what would be better than a collection of Irish made knives?

As they say in the old sod, "May your soul be in heaven 10 minutes before the devil knows you're dead".

Tough going there, maybe this will help... http://www.irish-websites.com/business/ ... facturers/

On second thought after going into that site, don't waste your time...it sort of dead ends fast. Sorry..

Of course I have relations in Ireland. My people were Vikings! WE helped settle that country. ::ds::

Hello JP...and all.

Rory Conner would be the biggest name in Irish knifemaking. He would have a lot of stuff out there.

Davy Moore would be a new kid on the block.

If you need a slipjoint then that just leaves, as far as I know, myself. :)

I just curiously did a search on Ebay, but didn't look hard.

I thought this little guy was cool, except that he was made in Sheffield.
