Anyone pick up the new Taylor LB7ST?

They just released a LB7 with stag scales and filework. Pictures look nice, but that means nothing.
Apparently they are using a new supplier/factory to produce the knives that has better quality than the original LB7 clone they did, which by the way was not very nice.

Here is some pics of the new model.

I can tell from the pic they are not using the one piece cast bolster/liner.

You're right--from the pics, it looks like a 2-piece bolster/liner; there is a noticable seam all around. Given how far the filework extends towards the tip, it looks like they may be doing the filework before grinding the blade.

Maybe folks will buy these and I can get some more old 6OTs.

A sound plan sir! and a good use for taylor products! Let people who don't know better buy them and leave the old schrades for us :D
