Springer knife pitol

Post by dspsdsualum »

I recently purchased a Springer Knife Pistol. It has a single .32 caliber shot chamber and a spring load assisted 2 1/2 inch blade with "Bazar" engraved on the blade. The blade is also stamped "Made in Germany".It has stag handles and in generally good estate condition but the very tip of the blade is broken.
Does anyone know the age and approximate value of this.
Thanks,
ERik

Goins' Encyclopedia lists:

Bazar - guesstitmate of circa 1950-1960. Three arms holding hammers in a circle. "Made in Germany" is stamped on the back of the tang. "Spring Knife" is stamped into the bottom bolster.

Can you post a picture?

Thanks,
Mike
