Natenberg Strauss Knife - any info or help

Post by jemjr »

I received this knife from my father. I believe it once belonged to his grandfather, who came over to the US from Germany about 1890. The knife is not in very good shape, but all there. I can't tell if the handles are bone, stag or even celluiod? Any help, age or handle material would be helpful.

Thanks
Jack

My vote is for bone scales.

Other than that, all I can say is that it is a neat old piece of family history.
