New GEC Knife Coming

Post by GECLADY »

Great Eastern Cutlery will be coming out with a new pattern in approx. 6 weeks. It will be a 4 Blade Congress. The closed length is 3 3/4 long and approx. 5/8" wide, it will have a medium bolster approx. 5/8" long. The blade configuration will be sheepfoot and pen- one of each at both ends. Tidioute brand will be the first one produced. Watch our web site at http://www.greateasterncutlery.net on the new release page for handle types.

::welcome:: GECLADY Glad to have you join us.

I don't currently own any GEC knives, but that congress might just force me to change that.
Any chance for some different blade configurations on down the road? I'd like to see a large spear in place of one of the sheepsfoot blades and a coping blade in place of one the pen blades. But I never met a congress knife I didn't like. :)

Hey George,
If they made a Boy Scout knife, I'd already own one.

I have a nice old Camillus Scout in NM state...but anyway...I love the GEC brand. They have a new Sleeveboard and I can't wait to get one. You can see it and some of their other recent additions at http://www.greateasterncutlery.net/catalog2.html

I am hooked :O)

Thanks for joining Chris. I am expecting my #73 red stag in the mail today but it is snowing and not letting up, hope the mail comes. My wife said I have too many GEC's. Keep up the great work at GEC.

Hey Christine,

Thanks for joining the AAPK and for keeping us posted on new patterns.
There are quite a few GEC fans here (including myself) that have been on board since the start up of the company. I wish I had seen the post about Ryan being at the Oregon show sooner! I would have for sure looked him up.

Again..........welcome.

Hi Chris; you helped me out when I had to return my #23 liner lock (tractor red scales) to get some blade wobble ironed out.

Love the knife & really appreciate the terrific service!

Welcome to AAPK; this is a great bunch of knife knuts!
Today, I believe my jurisdiction ends here...
