Does anyone else own a Kershaw Speedform II ?

Kershaw began its foray into the knife business sometime during 1974. The company was originally based in Portland Oregon, but most early knives were manufactured in Japan. The first US manufacturing plant was opened in 1997 & the company currently offers knives made in the U.S., Japan, & China. Pete Kershaw (an ex Gerber salesman) started the business.

Does anyone else own a Kershaw Speedform II ?

Post by Bigman »

I got this knife a few yrs back of a doctor that said no matter what he did he couldn't sharpen it. I was wondering if anyone else has one like it? The doctor was the only other person I've come across that owned a Speedform II.
It has an Elmax blade and is the best all round steels money can buy for toughness, edge retention and stain resistance. Least that has been my experience with it. I was also wonder if there are any other Elmax fans out there?
