Does anyone know how to "turn on" the image count on the profile settings? I see some of you have figured it out, but all I've managed is to bring up the image count with no number. Phil, I see you got yours working; do you know how? It's gotta be one of those pesky computer settings that I don't understand.... ::cr:: ::cr:: ::cr::

The image count is tied to the number of pictures you have posted in your personal photo gallery as best I can figure. It has nothing to do with the number of photos posted on the threads apparently.

Hi Philco, When I try to upload a photo, I'm getting the message "The file you are trying to load is invalid." Any idea why? The pic is on my computer. Thank you.

Hello. The same thing happened to me. My wife made the file size or pic size smaller befor uploading. Worked great after that Bubbaboy

Welcome, this thread is about taking pictures, to get a better probability of getting your question answered, you might want to try the q&a section, but I'll give it a shot. First a macro setting on the camera with a tripod really help when trying to identify a knife. Second it looks like a case folding hunter pattern # 65 with two blades, possible bone or stag handles, can't tell from pics, the shield is missing and might have been re pined looking at the pins, and the bolster, 1920-1940 manufacture date. Value is determined a lot by condition and this doesn't appear to be in that great of shape, again better pics and in the right forum will get you more input. Gary

Gunstock, go to the Microsoft website and download the picture powertoy. Run it and it will install so that when you right click on any picture it will save a new copy in a choice of 3 different sizes for uploading on these sites. But I'm using photobucket to host my pics and just use the [img]....[/img] code in a post to show the picture.

Here's an example:
Image

Just hit the "quote" button and you can see what the code looks like. If you use photobucket, all you have to do is click on the code you want and it copies to the clipboard and the a "CTRL-V" will paste it into your post.

I cannot seem to get my pictures to upload on my latest post, even though I have uploaded in the past. I keep getting an error message that reads: "extension PDFs not allowed." Any suggestions?
