New Snap-on tool knives

Post by wazu013 »

My Grandson gave me a pair of knives with the Snap-on logo on them. I have to admit they're pretty ::shrug::
The 3 1/8" liner lock has 7Cr17moV blade steel and G10 scales. I know Kershaw used to make allot of them but this has no makers name on this one.
The other one is a key chain knife that's actually a tight little frame lock. I have no clue about the blade steel But I like the little bugger. It's actually got a lock bar stabilizer.
Any idea who's making these things? I'm to lazy to take pics right now so here's a couple from Blaine's website.

Waz,

The first one screams Kershaw to me.

The second one looks strikingly similar to a Gerber I was gifted several years ago.

Nothing to back up either one but that's what I think.

edit: Congratulations on having such a fine grandson. ::tu::

Well give them a good test run and see how they work in the real world.

I saw them in Tractor Supply the other day and liked them a lot. I'm probably going to get the smaller one soon.

This online store, Knife Center, attributes them to Timberline Knives.
