This straight razor was made for the Virginia-Carolina Hardware Co of Richmond, VA. It's the first straight razor I've ever bought. I don't collect straight razors, but cutlery related to old Virginia-based companies is extremely rare. I don't even care that part of the back handle broke off or that I have no idea how old it is. I'm just happy I was able to get a rare piece of Virginia cutlery.

Same here Dcgm4the one I get are old local or ones I have in my Grandpa's work boxes which has some neat old stuff.
