Prayers for daddy

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Colonel26 wrote:Thank you for all your prayers. Daddy got to come home from the hospital today. Yesterday they did an angioplasty and found a 90% blockage in his right coronary artery. That wasn't causing the a fib, of course, but it sure wasn't helping anything either. So they put a stint in.

He's on meds now for the a fib and is wearing a heart monitor for the next 15 days. Hopefully the medicine will take care of the a fib and no other proceedures will be necessary.

Thanks again guys. We really appreciate the prayers.
......col., glad he's doing better!!, sounds like a repeat of my dad's problems years ago!!........... ::handshake:: ...........

I'm just reading this now, Wade. Sorry to hear about your dad, but it sounds like he may be on the mend. Thank the lord for that.

Wade I'm sorry for my late arrival to this thread. I'll keep your dad in my prayers. Tell him how much you need him in your life and the life of your sons and maybe, just maybe, he'll realize it's time to listen to the doctors. Even if it doesn't work, he'll know how important he is to you guys.
