Prayers for daddy

Prayers for daddy

Post by Colonel26 »

Need some prayers for daddy please. Earlier today he went into a fib. He's stable right now but pretty sick. I'm on my way to the hospital.

I appreciate your prayers. Especially that he'll mind his P's and Q's. He's not got the best reputation for being a cooperative patient.

Cuz, it scares the crap out of you the first time it happens but you get used to it. I've had A-fib off and on (daily) for about 15 years and it's gotten to the point where I can't even feel it most times when I'm in it. Everthin's gonna be alright there little buddy. Tell your Pops this geezer said hey.

Thanks guys.

He was is a bad way. Momma took him to the doctor this morning and he was dizzy, vomiting, and his heart was just about stopping. They brought an ambulance to the doctor's office.

He's stable right now. Not a real happy camper, but stable.

Well, that's a bunch more severe than mine. My apologies for trying to make it sound like it's nothing. That's what I get for spouting off without knowing the full story.

No apologies needed Cuz. I know that in most cases it's something that can be managed. But my daddy, he's sure not a good patient and he's not cooperating.

Thanks guys for the prayers.

Thank you for all your prayers. Daddy got to come home from the hospital today. Yesterday they did an angioplasty and found a 90% blockage in his right coronary artery. That wasn't causing the a fib, of course, but it sure wasn't helping anything either. So they put a stint in.

He's on meds now for the a fib and is wearing a heart monitor for the next 15 days. Hopefully the medicine will take care of the a fib and no other proceedures will be necessary.

Thanks again guys. We really appreciate the prayers.

That won't slow him down none. Glad they were able to get him back off the ledge.

Wade I'm sorry for my late arrival to this thread. I'll keep your dad in my prayers. Tell him how much you need him in your life and the life of your sons and maybe, just maybe, he'll realize it's time to listen to the doctors. Even if it doesn't work, he'll know how important he is to you guys.
