Some may think I'm not right in the head

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Had a three hour attempt Friday for a stent ,didn't work ,except to remove my memory. I didn't know what year it was or what the President's name was.Strange,it was like looking for something in your house you know is there ,but can't find it. I realized I had a problem at least, which was little consolation.

Saturday the neurologist (after he came back Friday night and saw my condition) got another Interventionist in the same group and he got the stent placed in about 1/2 hour.I was still a little muddy Saturday night.Things seem to be normalizing now. I have to keep maintenance every 6 months ,as only one vertebral artery is flowing now. It doesn't seem there is any solution for the one that is occluded.

Thank God and thanks for your all's prayers to Him.

Lyle, one of my carotid arteries is completely clogged (found by an ophthalmologist). I'm guessing that's why I'm not right in the head.

Thanks for the update Lyle, we will keep praying.

"Lord, bless our brother Lyle and bring healing to the blood vessels and nerves in his head.
You Lord are the Great Physician. Doctors can do amazing things with surgery but true healing is your place of preeminence alone.
I ask that you exercise your authority and bring healing and wholeness to our brother.
I ask this in Jesus powerful name, Amen."

Thank you Dale,I wish we all lived closer. Thank you buddy John.

Jerry,I guess blood deprived brains think alike. If we had blood soaked brains like everybody else we'd go around mentally bending spoons and moving stuff, and people would think us even freakier. Today I grin..not too much on Friday, although my optimism was steadfast through everything.

It was kinda like being in the 70s on LSD,without the drug. Whew again. Thank you Heavenly Father.
