Please remember my Wife

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

JWS, A marvelous thing about a prayer request is how many folks will ask the Lord's blessings on your needs. God bless y'all as you go through this hard place. Treefarmer

J.W.
Keep the faith my friend! I can tell you from recent experience that God is still in the healing business. Last year, just days before Thanksgiving, my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. I won't say that it was easy for either of us. Her faith and attitude was much better than mine. When you get news like that, you go in expecting a battle, but you are not prepared for one that goes on for so long.
The surgery is only the beginning... The chemo treatments first bring on nausea, then a general feeling of being tired and sleepy. As the battle goes on, that tired feeling becomes exhaustion. The radiation is easier to deal with, but brings on its own muscular problems.
My wife Tracey is now finished with the treatments. She just had her followup visit and everything looks good. Her hair is beginning to grow back, and the wig just made its way to the trashcan! Her energy has returned - she is as feisty as ever!
Sorry to ramble, cause it's not about us right now - it's about you and your wife! I'm just hoping that these words from someone just coming out of the valley will be an encouragement for someone just going in...
Tracey and I will be praying for your wife - and YOU.
