Pair 175th Anniversary knives

The Remington Corporation and the knives that they built have influenced the U.S. cutlery industry more than nearly any other manufacturer. From the time America was settled, to the end of WWI, American knife companies struggled to compete with Britain and German imports, but events that occurred during and after the First World War led to a great change in this phenomenon. Unprecedented opportunities arose, and Remington stepped up to seize the moment. In the process, they created some of today's most prized collectables. In an ironic twist, the next World War played the greatest role in ending the company’s domination of the industry.

Nice Remingtons! What's the USA knife market like in Russia?
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

My English is very bad, so I doubt that correctly understood the meaning of your question. You meant the USA knife brands?

Thanks for your reply, Vit_231. Yes, I was just wondering if there are many USA made knives for sale in your country and are Russian knife collectors interested in collecting USA made knives?

Спасибо за ваш ответ, Vit_231. Да, я просто интересуюсь если имеется множество США ножей для продажи в вашей стране, и российские сборщики ножа в сборе США ножей?

In Russia there are many collectors and users of USA made knives. Many USA knives manufacturers have their own dealers in Russia. Enumerate all is meaningless. You can see my photos taken at different Moscow knife shows.

Unfortunately the site interface in Russian, but the navigation is very simple - click to photo for next photo.
To change the photo size is necessary to click on the inscription "В другом размере" which is located under the lower-right corner of the photo.

The best Russian folding knives (in my opinion) makes a Workshop of Shirogorov brothers - http://www.shirogorov.com/
In 2013, they were participants of the Blade Show in Atlanta (http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showt ... -Show-2013).
