Re: Remington Photos
Your bulldog HTT is great and correct. Some had tang stamps and some did not. I have an example of both. Nice knife and worth around $550. Take care, John Davis

John, I think you are responding to a post I made a while back about my HTT Bulldog. If so, thank you! I sent you a Private Message a few months ago. You can check it by clicking on the private messages link near the top right corner of the screen.pearlroosterman wrote:Your bulldog HTT is great and correct. Some had tang stamps and some did not. I would enjoy seeing pictures of you Bulldogs if you don't mind posting them.
Re: Remington Photos
An original R1123 with Remington Master Knife etch and a custom with sheep horn scales made by me.
Re: Remington Photos
Obviously I like the original 1123. But tell me more about the knife you made. Beautiful handles. Did you make everything? Or did you use a Remington frame. Very nice. Thanks for showing us.
Re: Remington Photos
I used the original as a pattern to get the measurements for the custom. It has all nickel silver parts except the blades and backsprings that are made from 154CM stainless steel. I make all the parts with bandsaw, drill press, and belt sanders starting with sheet and bar stock. I do the heat treating myself.
Re: Remington Photos
Wow. Some day!!!!! You build many knives?
Re: Remington Photos
Not very many. Just a hobby. Maybe 6-8 a year with 10-12 if I feel energetic! Mostly fixed blade hunters with a few slip joint folders thrown in.
Re: Remington Photos
Thanks guys!!
I have some photos laying around of Remingtons that I don't recall posting. Cant recall the pattern numbers on some. Here is a nice one.

Re: Remington Photos
Both of those are sure enough nice. It's hard not to get excited about those etched blades.
Re: Remington Photos
Two rare ones. R6519 gunmetal scales and R6334 "smoke" ? Pearl.
Re: Remington Photos
That's cool. Both of those handles are a new one for me. You have any other information about them?
Re: Remington Photos
Started a new thread for each. Maybe we can get more info.
Re: Remington Photos
Here is a R1233, swell center jack. It has been cleaned is it's only flaw. But I haven't seen another one.

Thanks Larry. Normally it's me telling you wow!!!!

Re: Remington Photos
Hey guys , here's one for you to look at and share any info you may have please. I'm new here , and to technology so bear with me and I'll try to post pictures of a R1065 Remington. Thanks again.
Re: Remington Photos
Are you certain it's a R1065? A R1065 should have a spear blade and not a clip. Your knife has pyremite handles and was made from 1924-1933. Looks to be in very good condition. Thanks for sharing.
