Any other CASE canoe collectors out there?

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Any other CASE canoe collectors out there?

Post by Sasquach »

I collect all kinds of knives but canoes are the heart of my collection. Especially Case canoes. I like to show mine and enjoy seeing what other collectors have. This is one that I call my "canoe collector's canoe". If you like canoes like I do....post some pics of yours.

Here is my one and only, can't bring myself to carry it I like it so much! The dark shade of the bone and that nice clear etch...one of my favorite knives to show off!

Cool! Can't wait. ::tu:: I'm trying get a parade of canoes going here. Maybe even an armada! Hope some other collectors get interested. You'd be surprized how much I've learned by viewing and discussing what other collectors have.

Here's one I had made on a 2010 Case amber bone canoe. The custom work turned out great. Come on, there's got to be some other canoe ca-nuts out there.

Here's a couple from the seventies. The first is a 10dot, the other has been shown on another thread, but thought it would fit here also. It's a shaw-liebowitz from the wildlife series 1975.

They are beautiful. I really like that stag! ::tu:: The wildlife series is a keeper for sure. Thanks for showing them, timgreene. I need to work on getting some more from the '70s, I only have one now. These were also posted on another thread but they fit here too. All of the tang stamps on these are 1986.

BTW I love the Indian tribe collection. Cool beans signor. ::tu::

I have those handles on (I think) a Case Baby Doc. Was the series with those handles, an SFO for SMKW? Seems to me, I remember buying the knife from them.
