Case Stag Half-Stop Blade

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Case Stag Half-Stop Blade

Post by jeff75 »

I'm looking for a Single Blade Case Knife with Stag and a Half-Stop.

Both the Stag 5215 Gunstock Trapper and the Stag 51749 L SS Mini Copperlock are close but not quite what I want. I love the Half-Stop on older Case knives but can't seem to find a single blade pocket knife with this quality.

Any ideas? If I can't find one I may have to go with the Copperlock, because I really like the size and shape of the knife, just wish it had the old Half-Stop.

Thanks!

*forgot to mention I'd prefer Chrome Vanadium if possible...

If you don't happen to find one, a half-stop can be added by one of our resident knife mechanics.

Find a good one with bad scales and have new scales of stag attached.
I measure my collection by the ton.
