Any Ideas? Real or Not

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Any Ideas? Real or Not

Anybody ever see one like this before? The stamp looks odd in that there is something inside the long-tail "C" and I can't tell what it is. Blade is 10" long.

Hi TJM,

Not sure I can help you with this BIG BOY, but could you post a closer picture of the stamp?

No, sorry. I stole the picture from the description. Blowing it up by increasing the screen size to 400% only takes it out of focus.

Looks like a Pakistani knockoff to me.

Seriously...you should relay that picture and information to Case...that looks like an offshore knockoff to me.

I picked up this same knife at an auction and passed it around the table and no one there thought it was legit. They all was questioning the stamp.
