Interesting Pattern by H. Konejung
Recently picked this up, it's an unusual pattern, a four blade trapper I suppose, with a large clip, small clip, pen, and small hawkbill blade. It has horn handles. It is about 3 1/4 inches closed. Anyone know if such a pattern had a particular use? All blades are stamped H KONEJUNG SOLINGEN and their logo, a pair of eyeglasses. It is not stamped with the country of origin, and is a fairly good quality piece, which leads me to believe it was made before the 1890 tariff, or possibly not intended for export.

I can't believe that Germany actually contracted knives elsewhere back then....Solingen on the blade to me says made in Solingen, Germany. As for the rest of the story....I have no clue!Another Knife Collector wrote:All blades are stamped H KONEJUNG SOLINGEN and their logo, a pair of eyeglasses.
