Camillus Boy Scout knives

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

They were a whole lot easier to come by when I was one of the few that was looking for them. That one now lives at Philip's house (Treefarmer).

I have a 2 blade easy opener with ebony wood handles made by Camillus , banner shaped shield reads Boy Scouts . It's a very early knife I suspect teens into the 20s blade etched Boy Scouts of America .
The little bit of research I did came up as a early boys life premium knife .
Will post a picture when I get a chance .

I've seen the same knife in a 4 blade bone as well with the same etch .

Those white ones had a habit of developing a handle crack at the shield.
