Camco cam stag? Year started ?

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Camco cam stag? Year started ?

One of my favourite carrys is this old Camco 772,I just found out it's scales are called cam stag, I can see them in the 1965 catalog and there not in the 1959 catalog but I can't find online any catalogs between 59-65 ::hmm:: did cam stag start in 65? Thanks for any info guys ::tu::

The 60's it is a white spot on the map of Camillus catalogs ::teary_eyes:: . One island in the center is 1965.

Nevertheless, I think that the cam stag handles start exactly in 1965 (maybe in 1964).

Thanks vit_213 ::tu:: I didn't notice the New word :lol: I can't find much else about cam stag or many pics online ::hmm:: I'm gathering its delrin type material? Thanks for the info ::tu::
