H. Boker's Improved Cutlery
H. Boker's Improved Cutlery
I've been trying to find some more information on this stamp: H. Boker's Improved Cutlery. I hope someone here on the forum can help. It's a 13 blade/tool knife. Not sure how old it is and whether it was made in the US or in Germany. And what is that 'hawkbill-looking' blade for?

Re: H. Boker's Improved Cutlery
circa 1860-1880.
That tang stamp was used on German made knives during that time period.
I'm likin' that one!
Usually a curved blade like that was a pruning blade. As old as that knife is, it could also have had its shape "refined" by the original owner....
That knife has it all!
button hook, fingernail care, - - and could that be .... a snuff spoon?
I do believe those could be genuine tortoise shell handles too.
