boker tang stamp

hello fellas. can across this knife on eBay. have have seen the tree stamp on the secondary blade alot. but never saw it with the word germany. whats your toughs on this? thanks Denny

I've seen the Tree stamp with Germany wrote through it on Boker knives before, Denny. It's usually been on older knives that I saw it on.

Denny, the Germany stamp means it was made after 1891. With that, along with the H. Boker & Co's tang stamp, that knife would have been made between 1891-1910. IIRC, that was one of the requirements of the McKinley tariff.
I was watching that one too. You gonna bid on it? ::tu::
