Old Boker wounder soldier age?

Post by cohuttatrading »

Picked this up at a second hand store. Was trying to find the age. The best I can make out, the tang reads Heinr Boker Co Baumwerk-Soligen and then Germany - Alemania. I looked at Hawke's Boker notes and surmized it was made sometime in the 30's. The reverse side of the tang has a single tree. One of the blades is broken but otherwise it is in great shape. Any help in verifying the age would be appreiated. Thanks in advance.

cohuttatrading,
I am not a Boker expert by any means, I just saw your post. What is the length of your knife closed? I have one that looks like your but is 3" with honey bone handles with a missing blade, it would be after WWII. Thanks, you have a nice knife even if the blade is borken.

1930's - 1950's , but most likely as Joe said , after WWII . My guess would be early 1950's .
