About forty years ago when I was 10 or so, the local grocery/hardware/feed store carried Boker Tree Brand in a case. I drooled over those knives as I grew up. Eventually I left home for school and work and never got around to getting a Boker. Recently I finally ordered a new Boker 7588 in green bone scales and I am very impressed. Fit and finish is top notch and the blades all have a crisp snap. Boker's stockman design is very clever in how the middle sheepsfoot blade lies in the handle without protruding. Can't wait to get another one, maybe even a vintage model. Great knife well worth the price.

Yep, Boker has been making the 9908 pattern for a lotta years. I think you nailed it on the date Mike. Late 1940s-early1950s.

Nice knife Mike! I agree with Blue on the time frame and he's also correct in saying that Boker has been making that pattern for a long time. Here's three older variations of that same pattern.
