in the mail and almost here!

Post by Chuck Stardust »

I purchased my very first Un-x-ld knife and I'm SO EXCITED! I should get it today in the mail based on the tracking system provided and whew....I'm going to be standing outside with arms wide open waiting for this baby!
I'm NEW to this forum and new to this level of quality knife collecting for folders. My name is Charlie and I live in Denham Springs, Louisiana. I've always loved knives of the older styles, especially those old Buck's and Case's, and for some reason multi bladed folder's. This knife is the Cuban model 53 and it's caramel apple colored. It's 17 of 19 and I'm so glad I found this dangerous place of like minded folks that appreciate and love the beauty of a knife and all the satisfaction it can bring to some one to their life. My wife thinks I'm crazy....but I think I'm just enjoying having my man jewelry appetite pleased every now and then!

Thanks and pictures SOON!!!!
Charlie

Welcome to AAPK, Charlie. Glad to have you aboard. Warning: this forum can be as addicting as the knives discussed here. ::nod::

You're going to love your Cuban. It's a fine sturdy knife. Please post pictures of her once she arrives.

Edit: Next thing you know, you'll need a #53 Furtaker Trapper to go along with the #53 Cuban.

Chuck, first off welcome to AAPK!
Secondly, congratulations on your first Great Eastern! If your anything like me, it won't be your last! ::tu:: By the sounds of it the knife you got should be beautiful. The #53 is a great pattern and a really good example of what the company is capable of. Hoping you like it and I can't wait to see the pictures!

Chuck, looks like a great one, especially for a first one!
The #53 equal end frame really suits the stockman pattern well in my opinion! Definitely a comfortable frame for some tough use!
