Re: GEC 42 Missouri Trapper/Trader
Thanks' alot guy's, if they hadn't named this knife after my home state.......heck I'd still be all over it....
Edge I'll try to set a better example....but don't hold your breath on it...
Has anyone tried the Trapper slip...I wonder how the snap is on them ?

I've got a couple of the trappers Bob just haven't had time to take pics. Snap is great, you'll love it. The Rendezvous trapper is the stoutest of the group I have......like a bear trap

Re: GEC 42 Missouri Trapper/Trader
all these are old hat except maybe the walnut just to right of stag. coco certainly has dynamic shades but the subtle walnut is a beauty all to itself.--HiPower

Re: GEC 42 Missouri Trapper/Trader
Thanks! You gotta get you one, the two blades are a bear to open but the lockbacks are smooth! Better yet just get two, they are better in pairs.

Re: GEC 42 Missouri Trapper/Trader
I might have to get one then, do they have half stops? I wish my #72's springs were stronger and had half stops.

Re: GEC 42 Missouri Trapper/Trader
The single blade lockbacks don't but the double bladed do. They have quite a hefty spring on them, it's such a difference between single and double blade. The difference in springs is night and day.

Re: GEC 42 Missouri Trapper/Trader
I dig the 42,single and 2 blade,great pattern imho
