Picked up this "'new release"' GEC today from ""oldhundred (BOB) ""_____#720113 Mini-Hunter Lockback ____has the Wharncliff blade,and some dark wood**** ___ :) ___should have it in hand,by Monday***____like someone has said before, """what an awesome knife these Ebony Wood knives would be, with the "'Northfield Blings"" !!!!! ::nod::

I got wharncliffe and clip lockbacks from the new run in cocobolo and bone. The bone is nice but I'd say some of the cocobolo is exceptional. There seems to be a choice between the lighter and darker cocobolo on this run.. I think the darker is very rich and looks great in hand. Unfortunately, the clip blade on my bone handled knife is more than wobbly - a bit like a baby's rattle..you can actually hear it if you shake the knife - both side to side and verticle. I'm not that fussy, but this one may be my first to go back for a tune-up.
