GEC has annouced a new pattern to be known as the White Owl. What could it look like?

Here is a previously unknown preliminary design for the new pattern:

Barry you just ruined this knife for me. ::tear::
I was so looking forward to it too.

Okay, your knife looks like one of Canal streets football knives. ::disgust::
I don't want any of that.

I can't wait to see this knife, I love the name, I love GEC. ::ds:: I think they can slam another great one out of the park, so I'm watching intently. ::nod::

Well if anyone has looked at the GEC "What's Happening Today" section of their website it would appear that the White Owl will be called the #68 pattern...................does it get us any closer to what it may look like.........

Will probably be a cigar pattern.

I think the "teaser" names they give the knives before release is pretty neat. Do wish I had a clue about what this one will be. :|

Some people "'In The Know**"" say the white owl,will be,and I "'QUOTE"" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ::hmm::

A two blade,with a spear & pen blade or clip & pen,blades,closed length is, 3 7/16 inch,called the "'White Owl"" ::woot:: ::woot::

Seems like it's going to be an equal end jack,in a smaller version ????? very similar,size & looks,to the Case #14 & 14 1/2 pattern(3 3/8 inch ) ??? ::hmm:: maybe ??

My guess is that it will be like the Case 55 equal end jack. ::shrug:: ::shrug:: ::shrug::

Now that I re-read what Monk posted, that makes more sense. ::facepalm:: I read the equal end part but it didn't register the first time. ::shrug:: The 55 is a nice one as well. ::tu::

I am also not interested. Nor am I enamored with the #61 wharncliffe half congress.

This is not a bad thing - saves me some coin.

I love it, both blades would do for me. I can see the clip being more useful though.
The single backspring design is great, I think it would disappear in the pocket. Definitely on the wish list, a very classy knife for sure. 8)

Was gonna pass on the #68 for now, but the Red Buffalo Horn w/clip may be irresistable............ ::undecided::
The knife shown is in Ebony Wood, just wanted to show clip blade.
