Give Terry at Boker a call.
If they have it he will send it at no charge.
Last one I had to replace, he was not sure of the size so he sent both 8mm & 9mm round shields.

They are pretty quick to respond.

That's the third time someone has told me to call Boker so I guess it's time to give it a try. Thanks guys. Always good advice.

I talked to Terry.

The reason I started thinking Boker might have this shield to begin with was that I saw a brand new knife just like mine with the same shield. You can still buy it. Turns out that it IS my shield. They had a bunch left over from years ago so they made a special run of knives and used them all up.

No more long shields at all

Gee, I hope they have some round ones left. I just bought a very nice Boker jack knife that is missing one.

Don't know if I can afford one but let me know if you do. I guess we need one shield to make a mold?

Don't worry Joe.
Last month Terry sent me a 9mm & an 8mm because he wasn't sure which size it took.
They seem to have plenty of those!
