Hello, I never saw this makers mark and cannot find it anywhere. Can anyone tell me who made this and when. Thanks, Edgar

Trout Hardware Chicago.c1896-1907.Square deal was etched on the blade.It was made by someone else.Trout was not a manufacturer.
