Muskrat Case XX Year??

Can anyone tell me how I can determine the year of my Case Muskrat. My Dad was unsure if it belonged to my Grandad or Great Grandad. I have attached two photos. Thank you.

There are posts on this I am sure........but that knife is a 1973.

No problem. From 1970-1980 you count the little dots and subtract them from 1980.

i would venture to say that is a definate 1973. but it could even be a '72. as case usually centers they're dots and maybe you just can't pick up that 8th dot that might be on the right ot the A. if there is 8 dots then its a '72.
