What year is this knife. I checked the stamps but could not be sure. It is a 2138SS and it has 6 dots.

71=9
72=8
73=7
74=6...
so i guess it is a 1974?

dang dots always get me.

Case started with 10 dots in 1970 and removed one dot each year thereafter through 1979 when only one dot remained. If that knfie has six dots it's a 1974 model just like Gringo said.

Gringo those dots get me too cause I have trouble seeing them these days.
