help with a tang stamp!

Post by tylerdrummer »

so I found this old knife laying on the shelf above our dryer. never seen it before. dont know how it got there or whose it was. well its mine now! from all my google abilities ive been able to find that its a queen knife. the stamp says 76. However, from the tang stamp chart ive seen this one seems a little different. the Q is not a block letter or anything. Does it look right?? also whats it worth lol chipped master blade and crack in the pearl

that is the only year that queen used the solo Q with the long tail, without the whole word queen.

Looks like someone used it to cut wire.

Condition would greatly limit value but it could sure be resharpened and made into a nice user.

Chet they made them up to 1983 without the complete word "Queen"......76 was the only year that didn't have USA underneath. ::nod::
