This was a brand imported by the Kastor import company. Kastor also owned Camillus. if I remember correctly Morleys were imported from about 1913 to 1925. There was no W.H. Morley factory, this was a Kastor brand name. I have a couple of Morleys and consider them to be top quality. The multi tools are highly collectible, I believe. I'm being kind of vague as I am away from home and have no notes to refer to. You might try searching on W.H. Morley using the search function at the top of the page, there have been a number of them posted in the last couple of years.

Here's the one that I just got and was delivered this morning. W.H. Morley & Sons Germany (Mark side) Kastor & Co. Germany with a four leaf clover (pile side). Really nice chip and crack free bone handles. Secondary pen blade about gone but that's OK. I like the Morley knives, very well made and solid.

FRJ;I just pick one up exactly like yours. Imported by A.Castor of Camillus fame 1913-1927.. Are one of your blades marked NEW YORK AND THE OTHER MARKED GERMANY???

Thanks Murph. It is a nice knife.

garddog,
No N.Y. mark. Just the W.H.Morley stamp on each blade and the four leaf clover on the other side.
Great walk and talk, and 3 1/2" long. Thanks.

Two more pictures.

Pretty nice, Ray. I really like the office knives, don't know why. Guess they're just interesting like the corn knives. I guess every knife maker made an office knife? Sure must have been popular in they're day.

don't have any knives of this brand, but several years ago i got my wife a pair of scissors on ebay, beautiful engraving on the handles, plus when they are closed there are cutouts in both handle halves that resemble the clover leaf, they are stamped on the front side-"w. h. morley & sons, on the reverse side,"kastor & co., germany", with the clover leaf design. wish i could post a photo, they are beautifully engraved-anyone have any idea how old these could be???

Its on ebay as we speak...I am going to try and win it..but I'm afraid it will go a bit out of my range because of its rarity. :(
I have never seen a congress pattern with these type blades before either.....very unusual. ::shrug::

I just found this W H Morley so I thought I would just add it to this thread.
Nice looking scales and the blades look pretty good. Just needs a big clean-up.

Looking at the import dates from above, does that mean this knife dates back to that time?

Thanks Dan!
Sure looks like real mother of pearl on the handles. Looks too good to be mother of toilet seat.
