Value is going to be a tough thing because it will always be worth what somebody is willing to pay for it. The collecting market also has it's ups & downs & 'book' prices are a point in time estimate. What I'd do if I were you, I'd take a look at fleabay and/or like sites & see what any others have sold for within the last year.

My book shows one in mint condition at about $1K. Real world prices tend to run considerably less than the book prices, especially in the current economy. I don't know what your cutoff for the "not so great collection" is so I can't advise you on where to put it. :)

The LP model is around $1350 in my book. Your High-Pull model shows at $1000.
If it is greenbone.........its not too pretty of an example. Also, to get these guys to
comment much past whats been said.........we will need CLEAR PICS, esp of the stamp(s).
The knife does look to be in OK condition....used some and then cleaned and polished.
Search completed eBay listing for best indicator of value. My wild-ass guess is $275-325
on a good day. Its a little rare..........clean, but not a stunning example. Hope that helps.

Here is a pic of Case 1940-55 Greenbone.............some of thier best imo....

Apologies are not needed here - ...heck, about 14 months ago I did not know what
Greenbone was or that pocket knives were even collectible......... ::shrug:: .

All of us here are learning my friend. Welcome, and this IS the place to learn about knives.
