Cattaraugus Jack

Post by buck16 »

This Catt' has pattern # 22449 I cannot find on AAPK list of patterns. My feeling is that it was one of the last made b 4 they went under. If this was put together from leftover parts, somebody did a great job. Anyone's comments would be appreciated.

It is listed in PRICE GUIDE TO COLLECTOR KNIVES (pg.253).
Length 3 5/8", bone handle, he calls it a "Slim Jack". MINT value = $225.
This is from the 14th Edition (2004).

there seems to be a big difference in bolster length between the cat alog knife and the actual knife in your pic the frame to me looks like one of the repos russell made a while back

And the bone does not look quite right for an old Catt, at least to me.
